Software Categories

*nix software:
Admin = Software for advanced use. Only admin should use this.
Development = Software normally used by developers.
Games = Usually intalled as if it was native software.
Resource = Non-software, installed in the base system.
System = Software needed by the operating system, for normal operation.
User = Software used by "ordinary" users.
Ignore = If this is set, the software will not be included when updating the paths.
This is not an os::Cateory, but an os::Note

Native software:
Development = Software development related software.
Emulators = Emulators.
Games = Games.
Internet = Internet related software.
Media = Media related software.
Office = Office related software.
Other = Everything that doesn't fit in any other category.
Preferences = System preferences utilities.
System Tools = Various system utilities.
Ignore = If this is set, the software will not appear in the program menu.
